Crusader kings 2 organize raid

So if you enjoy being “the special one” in your raid, Holy Paladin is a great fit, and you’ll be a bit of a lone wolf as the only guy running your spec. The best comps consist of a Protection Paladin, a Retribution Paladin, and a Holy Paladin. However, due to the strength of their blessings as a buff, their auras, and their judgements, they are invaluable contributor to a complete raid composition and bring a lot to the table that other healers do not.īecause of their value truly lying in the buff department, you really only need to bring one to the raid, and that’s what most guilds will do. I’m not going to sugarcoat it, Holy Paladins are brought for utility reasons to the raid, as any shaman or priest could do their job as a Main Tank healer adequately. Simply put, Holy Paladins are not the class they were in Vanilla. This is a patchwork compilation of their math, their research, and some of my own ideas as well as thoughts from past experience organizing our raids. Special thanks to those who spent months debating on forums, and the folks who wrote piecemeal guides out there.

This guide is a compilation of vetted resources that date back to the Elitist Jerks era of TBC in 2007.

This is by no means entirely my work, though I did include some interpretation of my own. I would first like to give credit where it is due, as best I can.
